We live in a rather strange neighborhood. There are a lot of stores that cater to specific ethnicities and have lots of imported things for people who miss/need whatever. It’s kind of interesting to see the strange things that get sold. I have vague plans for a small project that involves photographing the various stores, signs and products. Could prove to be interesting.

One of the hair places near here had a massive pile of boxes stacked in front of it today that I found rather amusing. There is a long tradition of exporting the American ‘lifestyle’ but this is rather blatant: the entire state of New York is apparently made in China. :)
