Most of the time Amsterdam has a nice left-leaning balance between the progressive push from the left and the conservative push from the right. Sometimes though that peaceful equilibrium gets disrupted rather rudely by someone who has decided it’s time to shake things up and yell at people until they convert to their specific viewpoint.

I don’t have a problem with religion at all - more power to the people who are happy with their religion. Just leave me the fuck alone, alright? If I want to talk to someone about it, I will. On top of that, this oversimplification of good vs. evil, us vs. them, god vs. satan bothers me as well. Should I be surprised that the preacher was American? Probably not.
