You wouldn’t think to look at it, but this is actually a spy mirror. You’ll find them all over the place in Amsterdam, mostly used by older people to either be able to look into the street from their comfy chair, or see who’s at the door from said comfy chair. It’s the most contact some of the more secluded people get with the outside world. Normally they’re your average small mirror but this one is pretty ornate.
