No one punts at night August 18, 2004

Punting is quite the popular pastime in Oxford. In case you’re not sure what punting involves, it’s merely pushing around a small boat using a very long stick to push at the bottom of the canal with.
I took this photo late in the evening. The blue-ish light that’s further away was actually mostly darkness, but natural light nonetheless. The front red light was a big lamp lighting up the boats.
