The weather was great for our weekend in Oxford. The one thing that kept bugging us were the huge amount of wasps. It wasn’t that surprising to find out from a local paper that Oxfordshire was being hit by a plague of wasps this year.

One place where you could be fairly safe from them and read in peace (if you didn’t have any sweet things on you) was the Christ Church Meadows - a lovely area, without being all too crowded.
