Archos Gmini 400: iPod killer

As I said yesterday, this thing kills the iPod. It can do what the iPod and newer iPod photo can do and then adds a few more cool things for a lower price than the avarage iPod, just cause it can. You can store 20 GB of data. You can listen to MP3, WMA, WAV, even files with iTunes DRM. You can view photos. You can retrieve your photos from your CompactFlash card directly (which the Ipod photo stupidly cannot). You can watch Divx or Xvid movies directly on the device at great quality, or connect it to a hotel-room TV instead. You can also play some silly phone-based games. It’s just perfect for holidays where you want to avoid the bad in-flight movie and need some on-the-road storage to keep your photos safe. It of course connects fine as a USB mass storage device via super fast USB 2.0 to any device you want to connect it to. Why would anyone still buy an iPod now that this thing exists?
