It’s weird being in the US around July 4th. People get very excited about the fireworks, but they don’t get to light any exciting ones themselves. Rockets are against the law, so only the professional displays have rockets. Still, it was fun sitting around with lots of people, drinking some Bud Light (’twas free, can’t complain) and waiting for after dark when the fireworks would start.
