Parrot on a bike August 18, 2005
As we’re getting on the ferry at Central Station today I see this guy biking away with his parrot. From spotting him to taking his picture as he raced by: 2 seconds, tops. I didn’t even have my camera switched on yet. I’m finally getting a bit faster. :)

i managed to photograph a woman walking her cat on a leash at the grand canyon. unfortunately i missed the chance to photograph her while she was holding it over the edge.
