Back from Brussels, where we were off to see Sleater-Kinney and a bit of the city, as well. I have mixed feelings about the gig. They definitely rocked, played a solid good show. It’s just that with S-K I was hoping for something more than that. I get the distinct feeling they don’t really like touring Europe. Judging from a very brief chat with Janet it was clear they weren’t exactly in high spirits that day, so I guess that didn’t help. Fortunately I was standing near Carrie, who had enough energy for the three of them. Her excellent performance made the show.
