In Florence, we spent several evenings on one of the bridges over the river, watching as the sun set and lit up the city with beautiful light. Fortunately it’s not just the tourists who do this. This couple biked up and plopped down on the bridge near us. The girl grabbed her boyfriend’s camera and took a few photos while he smoked, showing him the results right after.

It seems digital photography has made it a little more social to take photos together. You often see people showing off their new photos to friends right after they’ve been taken. Another advantage, I think.
