Downtown Amsterdam is rather congested, and trying to get packages delivered by truck in a timely manner is just not realistic. A bike messenger can’t carry big packages. The solution? The bakfiets messenger!

But, you’re not allowed to bike on the Leidsestraat!
He wasn’t really on the Leidsestraat, he was just going around from one side of the canal to the other via that bit of road behind the tram stop. Cuz yeah, that bike, going down the Leidsestraat on a Saturday afternoon would be a bit difficult.
