Only in Italy June 20, 2006
… will you see a nun casually walking around with some “fashionable” woman behind her and lots of tourists around. From seeing this to taking the photo took maybe 5 milliseconds, so I’m happy with how it turned out.

What I like is how the light is shining on the nun’s face AND the bum digging through the trash!
I’m glad you saw the bum as well, I’d forgotten about him when I was posting… The light was just good at the time - very low as it was going down, with the buildings in the city casting shadows and letting only some bits of sun through. It was just lucky!
