Public performance II

After the guy collapsed in front of the TV and shoved it away, the viewers got up and started throwing pieces of paper at him. The rest of the people on the square looked on bemusedly. Only the local bag lady seemed to be genuinely concerned for the guy’s well-being. I don’t think the people doing the performance had quite expected that.

When the crowd suddenly dispersed we grabbed one of the notes that had been thrown at the “bleeding” guy. It said something like “Does a reality greater than TV exist? Dare to look, coward.” Since this was Madrid, it was in Spanish of course…
