Sometimes a song is only brilliant in context, and I have that with Long December. Years ago, during a long December month, Adam Duritz was on a 2 meter session. Somewhere in a busy area (maybe backstage somewhere) he played a solo piano version of Long December. It was brilliant and has stuck with me since. A bit of Googling reveals it was in ‘97. Longer ago than I thought.

Anyway, December is always busy and this year is no exception. I still haven’t taken my new camera out for some proper shooting. Maybe soon… For now, I shall have to content myself with midnight photos taken after concerts, such as this one of the night bus at 2 AM at Amsterdam CS.
