You might think this is a shot from the airport or part of an aviation museum. Both would be reasonable conclusions were this not taken in Russia, where everything is bonkers. It’s part of a park in the middle of Moscow, and right next to these two planes stands a FUCKING ROCKET. No kidding. To give you an idea of the size of Moscow, here’s a fun fact: many Moscovites I met had never seen this place. With the ROCKET IN THE MIDDLE OF THE CITY in a park that’s over two square kilometres.

I find this somewhat odd, yet endearing.

UPDATE: As it turns out I was just in time to see it. It’s being dismantled.
